#196634Versa - The windshield and side mirrors were heavily coated with an oil film and were not cleaned, making driving at night and in the rain difficult due to poor visibility. - If possible, it would be nice if a phone holder was provided. I brought a phone holder that plugs into the air vent, but it didn't fit the vent, so I had to hold my phone in my hand and use the navigation, which was difficult.

There was a significant oil film on the front windshield and side mirrors, and it hadn’t been properly cleaned. This made it difficult to drive at night or in the rain due to poor visibility.

It would also be great if a phone holder could be provided.
I brought one that attaches to the air vent, but it didn’t fit the car’s vent properly. As a result, I had to hold my phone in my hand to use navigation, which was quite inconvenient.

Hotel pickup on time, airport drop-off always available, clean vehicles, friendly staff—nothing I could fault. The price is also very reasonable. For those departing from Busan, this is a great choice. However, the roads aren't as good as in Korea.

#197507Versa I'm so glad I upgraded my car. Apple CarPlay works well, parking assist works well, and it comes with a car seat. I also got a beach chair, though I didn't use it, so I was very satisfied. It's great for family trips.

#197702Versa I've always rented a car on my 7 trips to Guam over the past 10 years. The reason I rented a Nissan car, except for the second time out of the seven, is that about 8 or 9 years ago, Toyota Rent-a-Car was having a promotion at Lotte Duty Free, and it was cheaper. Now, there's nothing like that, and 2 years ago, I tried renting a Korean car, and the price was almost the same because of the police department partnership. However, they used a scam method that I've never experienced before... I filled up the car in the evening and returned it the next day, but they said the gas tank was low... With the help of the gas station employee, they asked for more money to fill up the tank, and then they told me to pay because there was a scratch on the bumper... We went with my family, and my brother had photos as evidence, but he didn't apologize once... When I went to the Guam cafe, it seemed like a very habitual place to do this. Haha, that was a long introduction. This has never happened in the 5 times I rented a Nissan car. Picked up at the airport and returned it right at the airport. The staff was friendly and the price was good. I went there early December and it was great to rent a new 2025 model. And if I may make a suggestion, I think I will go here often like I do, but I always make reservations here. It would be nice if there were benefits like free gas or a two-level upgrade to the previous car. All my acquaintances tell me not to look at Nissan rental cars and to go here. It's a bit difficult to put gas in, so I recommend the free gas benefit. I'm sure we'll go again next year...

Over the past 10 years, I’ve been to Guam 7 times, and every time, I’ve rented a car.
Out of those, I used Nissan Rent-a-Car 5 times. The other 2 times were exceptions:
once about 8 or 9 years ago, when Toyota Rent-a-Car had a promotion through Lotte Duty Free, and another time 2 years ago when I tried a Korean-run rental company that claimed to be partnered with the Korean police department.

Although the price was similar, the experience was terrible.
I filled the tank the night before and returned the car early the next day, but they claimed the gas wasn’t full.
With the help of a gas station employee, I confirmed it was topped off—but they still asked for more money.
Then they claimed there was a scratch on the bumper and demanded extra payment.
Luckily, my brother had taken photos, and when we showed them as proof, they didn’t even apologize—just backed off silently.
Later, I checked some Guam travel forums and realized this company had a history of pulling these kinds of scams.

In contrast, I’ve never had any issues with Nissan Rent-a-Car—not once in five rentals.
The airport pickup and return is smooth, the staff are always friendly, and the pricing is great.
This time (December), I even got a brand-new 2025 model—it was a fantastic experience!

One suggestion: for frequent users like me, it’d be amazing to have a mileage or rewards program.
It’d be great to see the return of the “fuel-free” option or maybe even a 2-level vehicle upgrade for loyal customers.
I always tell my friends and family: don’t look anywhere else—just go with Nissan Rent-a-Car.

Gasoline can be a bit tricky for some people, so I highly recommend offering the fuel-free option again.
And yes… my family’s already talking about going again next year :)

If you're only staying at the resort, you probably don't need to rent a car, but if you plan on going out and shopping, renting a car is a must. Parking isn't difficult, and driving is easier than in Korea, so if you're going to take taxis, I definitely recommend renting a car. And the cars are in excellent condition. I looked them up and found out that Nissan recently replaced their entire fleet. I'm extremely satisfied with my Nissan rental car.

In Guam, whether or not you rent a car really changes the quality of your trip!
If you’re just staying at a resort, you might not need one—but if you plan to explore or go shopping, renting a car is a must.
Parking is easy, and driving is even simpler than in Korea. Honestly, if you're thinking about using taxis, I’d 100% recommend getting a rental car instead.
The car I got was in amazing condition, and I found out Nissan recently updated their entire fleet.

#197874Versa Perhaps because I arrived late in the morning, there was no general guidance...and there wasn't enough information about returning the car to the airport (previously, the information and the car return staff were in the parking lot). The car was in good condition, but the car upgrade benefit for the 6-day rental seemed lacking! The best part is that it's available right at the airport.
