What is the fuel policy?

The vehicle will be provided with a full tank of gas when you pick it up. Please return the vehicle with a full tank as well.


If the vehicle is returned without refueling, you may be charged approximately twice the local gas station rate, so please make sure to refuel before returning the car.

What is the cancellation fee?

If you cancel after receiving your reservation number, a $10 cancellation fee will be charged.

However, if the vehicle reservation cannot be confirmed, you will receive a 100% refund.

If you do not bring your driver’s license on the day of rental or in case of a No Show, a one-day reservation fee will be charged:


  • Compact car: $15

  • Full-size car: $19–$22




Do the reservation holder and the driver need to be the same person?

No, the reservation holder and the driver do not need to be the same person.


When you arrive at the rental car counter, simply provide your reservation number, and you will be able to use the reservation.


The driver can be decided when completing the paperwork in Guam.


If you would like to register an additional driver, please present both drivers’ driver’s licenses at the counter.

Is it easy to drive in Guam?

Yes, driving in Guam is generally very easy and convenient.


The speed limits range from 25 mph (40 km/h) to 45 mph (72 km/h).

Most places such as hotels and shopping centers provide free parking.


In addition, the driver’s seat is on the left side.

Are all vehicles automatic?

Yes. All vehicles are automatic (AUTO).

Is Guam Nissan Rent-A-Car open 24 hours?

Yes. 24-hour pickup service is available at Guam International Airport and at hotels in the city.


At the Guam Airport counter, vehicle pickup and return are available 24 hours a day.

For city hotels, a 24-hour free pickup service is available. You will meet a Nissan staff member at the hotel and then move to the nearest Nissan office to receive your vehicle.


If you wish to return the vehicle at your hotel, an additional $10 fee will apply.

1. Guam Airport Counter

Open 24 hours a day (365 days a year).

The Nissan Rent-A-Car counter is located on the arrival level of Guam International Airport.


2. Guam Plaza Hotel Counter

Open daily from 09:00 to 17:00.

Located on the lobby level of Guam Plaza Hotel.


3. Main Office

Open Monday – Friday, 08:30 to 16:30.

Located in Upper Tumon, Guam.

What is the Airport Tax (CONCESSION FEE 11%)?

The Concession Fee (11%) is a tax charged by GIAA (Guam International Airport Authority) when the vehicle is picked up at the airport.


This fee is 11% of the total rental cost and applies only when the vehicle is delivered or picked up at the airport.


When you make a reservation through our head office, this tax is already included in the reservation price.

(However, the rate may change without prior notice depending on local regulations.)

I completed my reservation but did not receive a reservation number. What should I do?

During business hours on weekdays, if the vehicle is not available, we will notify you by text message. If you do not receive any special notice, you may assume that your reservation has been successfully confirmed.


We usually respond within 3 business hours on business days. Please note that responses may take longer outside of business hours.

I just made a reservation and I’m departing for Guam today. What should I do?

If the vehicle appears available when selecting your reservation date, it means that the vehicle is available in more than 90% of cases.


In this situation, you may proceed with the reservation and depart for Guam as planned. After arriving in Guam, we recommend checking your email for confirmation and any updates regarding your reservation.

  1. If you replace the flat tire with the temporary spare tire yourself and visit the Nissan office for repair or replacement:

    → Tire repair fee: $15




  2. If a Nissan staff member visits your location to repair or replace the tire:

    → Tire repair fee $15 + On-site service charge $25

    Total: $40




  3. If the tire cannot be repaired because the vehicle was driven while the tire was flat:

    → New tire replacement from $90+ + On-site service charge $25

    Total: from $115+

How much does it cost to register an additional driver?

The fee is $5 per additional driver, regardless of the rental period.


To register an additional driver, the primary driver must present the original driver’s license of the additional driver when completing the rental agreement.


Please note that the original driver’s license must be carried when driving the vehicle.
